Some records cannot be deleted even if you ask. Transaction history has a
ten year retention floor set by financial regulation, so an erasure request anonymises those rather
than removing them, and we say which is which in the answer.

It took effect immediately and everything that depended
on it was told. Withdrawal is not a preference we get round to; the services that read your data
were notified within seconds and will be refused if they ask again.

What withdrawal cannot do. It stops future use. A bureau pull that
already happened, or a loan already decided on that data, is not undone, and pretending otherwise
would be dishonest.
