Secured by EfasheEscrow protection: whichever method you choose, your money is
paid into Efashe escrow, not straight to the sellers. It is released to each seller only
after you confirm delivery with your order OTP or by dialling *182#.
Cashback and receipt
Paying with the Efashe Wallet earns
RWF 11,035 cashback, credited to your cashback account the moment escrow is funded.
MTN Mobile Money
+250
Must be an MTN Rwanda number registered in your own name. What happens next. We ask MTN to collect RWF 220,700. Your handset
gets a USSD push; approve it with your MoMo PIN. The money lands in Efashe escrow, not
with the sellers. If the prompt does not arrive within 60 seconds we route the request
over the fallback pipe automatically.
Wallet cashback does not apply to mobile
money orders. Only wallet payments earn the flat 5%.
Airtel Money
+250
Collection runs over the OAuth secured Airtel rail. You will get an
approval prompt on that number. Escrow is funded only once Airtel confirms.

PCI DSS scoped iframeThese fields are not part of this page. The
card form is served from the PCI scoped segment. Neither the marketplace documents nor
the ledger ever see a card number, which is what keeps them out of PCI scope.
Buy now, pay later
A wallet loan, not an instalment planThis is the same Efashe wallet loan you would
take from the Loans section. Only the starting point differs. The loan pays the sellers
in full at checkout, and you repay Efashe from your wallet.
Only the shortfall is financed. Your own money is used first, so you
borrow RWF 36,450 rather than the whole basket.
A soft pull. It does not affect your
credit score and nothing is committed yet.

Top up, then pay
We pull the shortfall from your MoMo number into your Efashe Wallet, then pay the order from the wallet so it still earns the flat 5% cashback.

Approved in 1.4 secondsOnly the shortfall is financed. Your wallet pays
RWF 184,250 and the loan covers RWF 36,450, so the sellers are paid the full RWF 220,700 into
escrow in one balanced movement (UC-WCB-322).

The money never reaches your hands. A checkout loan settles
straight to the sellers through escrow, so it cannot be turned into cash (UC-LND-604).

alongside any other Efashe loan. There is no separate BNPL product.

Bank of Kigali
Verify with your bank
Your bank sent a code to +250 788 *** 456 to authorise RWF 220,700 to Efashe Rwanda Ltd. This page is served by the bank, not by Efashe.
Efashe never sees your card number or this code.
The commerce records and the ledger stay outside PCI scope.
Your payment was declined
The card issuer refused the authorisation. Nothing was taken and no escrow hold was placed, so your cart is exactly as it was.
Issuer reason: do not honour (51). This usually means an
insufficient card limit or a block on online payments. Your bank can lift it, or you can
pay another way.
